Do you have a relative, friend or neighbor who worked at the Empire Mine ? If so, you may wish to take advantage of EMPA’s research capabilities. Over the years this group has interviewed retired miners, researched literature including old issues of newspapers and compiled an impressive amount of data on personnel, Empire Mine history and associated events. To take advantage of this service all you need to do is send a check for $10.00 ( non-refundable) per employee (made out to EMPA to cover costs ). Mail it to EMPA, 10787 East Empire St, Grass Valley, Ca 95945. Attn: Research Group. They will review the data files and send you any information pertaining to your request.
